The Lady Lakers were 20 minutes into the second half still battling for that winning goal. Tackles from all over the field were shielded by the intensity of the game. Soon enough, the Lady Lakers found an opportunity. At the 10 minute mark, a loose ball was found at the top of the defense, senior Elizabeth Tschudin picked it off and scored a filthy game winner. The Lady Lakers were ecstatic;the long hard effort to this moment has finally come! However, there was 10 minutes left. The Lady Lakers shaped more defensively and kept Newmarket away from the goal.
