The Sunapee players presented The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza by Don Zolidis for their opening night last Wednesday in the SMHS gymnasium. The play was directed by Sunapee Alumnus Renee Brandon, and it was executed very well.
The short comedy play gained the audience's attention from the beginning with its laughter and silly antics. A particular highlight was the performance of sophomore Jordan Roosevelt, who successfully played numerous roles throughout the performance. Mr. Roosevelt grasped the concept of theater and drama and was a joy to watch.
Additionally, the narrators for the performance, junior Jenna Caron and senior Daisy McFarland, did a fantastic job embodying their roles and making the narrative just as important as any other role. Overall, the fall play had a successful amount of drama students to help make the play enjoyable. Everyone in the play did a fantastic job. The audience was greatly amused by the performance, and it was considered a must see.
The Sunapee players will take a break for the rest of the semester before gearing up for a yet to be determined musical production in the Spring.
