Newmarket, New Hampshire - The boys’ varsity soccer team traveled to Newmarket on Friday and  faced another hard game against Mules on Friday. This division lV rivalry has  been a tough game every season, and this year was not an exception as the Lakers battled strong and hard to end another double-overtime in a 0-0 draw.  
   The narrow field gave the Lakers many opportunities as they pushed their attack higher and beat several Newmarket defenders. A strong midfield from seniors Matthew Tschudin and Sam Flint helped contain possession to send their attackers in stride. The Lakers just couldn’t get a finish off. Senior Goalie Jonah Flint had excellent saves throughout the entire game. He kept great composure and distributed the ball well and fast. Senior Deklan Pierce did an amazing job at outside back. He kept the ball in front and had good, sturdy tackles. The Lakers had great intensity throughout the game, but unfortunately couldn’t pull through with a win. The 1-0-2 Lakers will host Pittsfield on Tuesday at 6. It's a rec night! So come support your Lakers with your little Lakers!
