Sunapee, New Hampshire - The boys’ varsity soccer team secured  a 9-1 victory over Pittsfield on Monday. Senior goalie Jonah Flint had minimal saves throughout the night due to Sunapees strong defense and work ethic. The Lakers pushed the ball up the field with pace and created many opportunities from crosses from the left and right flanks. Strikers finished from the crosses well and tucked a few in. 
   In the second half, junior goalie Ben Gross made an appearance in goal and also had minimal saves and only let up one goal. The midfield, led by senior Matthew Tschudin and senior Samuel Flint charged up the field and played great through balls up to their attackers in stride. 
  Throughout the game the Lakers had a variety of players playing on the field and the Lakers had 6 different players score this afternoon. Junior Finn Flint (2), junior Sam Kress (2), senior Matthew Tschudin (2), senior Vincent Borelli (1), senior Cam Messenger (1), and sophomore Malik Nasir (1). Senior Matthew Tschudin also ended the night with 3 assists. A nice 9-1 Victory will help them prepare for their game tomorrow away at Mount Royal.
