Sunapee, New Hampshire - The boys’ varsity soccer team played an exciting and physical game against Concord Christian Academy for homecoming on Saturday! The Lakers came out strong in the first half and soon enough earned a free kick. While the CCA  keeper was off guard, senior Matthew Tschudin scored a nice free kick to put the Lakers up 1-0. The Lakers defense, led by senior Cameron Messenger and senior Connor Ryba, kept the CCA attack from passing through their defense as the Lakers cleared the ball and pushed up the field to try to find their strikers. The Lakers ended the half with a 1-0 lead. 
  In the second half, the Lakers battled but CCA eventually wore the Lakers down and were able to find the back of the net three times to give them the lead 3-1 victory. It was a tough loss for the Lakers who drop to 4-3-2 on the season; however, they have an easier stretch of games beginning with Wilton at home on Monday.
