 The boys’ varsity soccer team played in their coldest game yet, but that didn’t stop them from securing victory against Wilton on Monday. The Laker controlled the play for most of the game this evening against the visiting Warriors. In the first half, senior Vincent Borelli got an early goal just 2 minutes into the game. Junior Sam Kress served a beautiful assist which set up Borelli for a nice one time finish.  Junior Mason Sailer scored 15 minutes into the half with an assist from senior Matthew Tschudin.

    In the second half Borelli scored his second goal while Kress and Tschudin each tallied a score apiece to finish the night with a 5-0 win. Senior Jonah Flint earned the shutout in the goal with help from strong defense by senior Deklan Peirce and senior Conner Ryba. The defense shut down strong Wilton players and remained solid throughout the night. This win brings their record to 5-3-2 and 8th in standings. The Lakers will travel for a rematch against Wilton-Lyndeborough hoping for another solid victory on Tuesday.
